  Sisters Who Care
                              and  "Red Tails"

On opening night, Sisters Who Care and friends came together on a beautiful, balmy and starry night to see the long awaited film
"RED TAILS"  at the downtown Arizona Center AMC movie theater.
With popcorn and beverages in hand, the group settled into their seats in theater 22 for an epic account of the famous Tuskegee Airman.  These brave  young  men were the first African Americans to pilot aircraft in World War II.

The movie was action packed and revealed how the men overcame  racial prejudice  and displayed  bravery, natural talent, and exceptional aptitude for piloting.  Don't miss this movie!

Sisters Who Care at the Carver Museum

Called  A Blessing to One Another: Pope John Paul II and the Jewish People, the Phoenix Carver Museum located at 415 E. Grant,  received the traveling exhibit of Pope John Paul II during his youth and his friendship with Jerzy Kluger a Jewish boy; and how that friendship revealed the hate and brutality of a people for the world to see and then eradicate this injustice. This exhibit shows us how evil  surface around the world and how we must continue to work to educate generations for peace and love of our fellow man.

This exhibit was truly an experience for Sisters Who Care. The day ended with lunch and a reflection of the horror many Jewish people endured under Adolf Hilter's reign and the friendship of young boys that turned the world.
